Trail Description:
We usually don't come to Point Reyes at this time of year, as the closer parks are still very pleasant, but we were hoping to find the elusive Chocolate Lily which should be blooming now.  After putting on our gear, we started down the trail to see if we could once again experience this rare plant. Unfortunately our experience was limited to a soaking down pour which had us scurrying back to our cars. Minutes later the skies cleared and we decided to head towards the point for a pleasant lunch. Flowers were blooming, but not as prolific as in past years it seems, and no sign of our Lily.

For more information, see our Park page.
