Hike/Park Description:
Aetna Springs is one of those places mostly of interest to botanists, and then only during the spring. The drive there is nice and the uninspiring gravel road past the Aetna Springs Golf Course does have some views and solitude. Missimer on the other hand is set in a volcanic river plain along Snell Valley Road that winds along Butts Creek through pretty oak woodlands, and is full of flowers... at least this time of year. .
