SKYLINE
BUCKEYE

Trail Description:
Buckeye follows the main road Lake Marie, but at a slightly higher and more wooded elevation. It combines gentler grades than Skyline, yet provides panorama views of the valley from time to time. Unfortunately, most of the flowers were gone, but the landscape is beginning to put on it's lush winter coat of green and a few buds were seen. We had intended to circumnavigate Lake Maria, but as luck would have it, when furthest from the parking lot the rains sent us scampering back.
