BENICIA SRA

Home

Park Description: Benicia State Recreation Area (SRA) is an 720 acre preserve half way between Vallejo and Benicia on the north shore of the Carquinez Straits. While there are few trails besides the Ridge Trail bisecting the park, it does have excellent marsh and water vistas with good bird viewing possibilities along the shorelines. Plus there is the interesting  Forrest Deaner Native Plant Garden.

Directions: From Vallejo go about two miles and take the Rose Drive Exit. From Benicia take the Columbus Parkway exit and follow the signs.
