Trail Description: This is a scenic two mile trail with little elevation change that leads you out to the southern bluff along a coastal grass habitat. In addition to wildflowers you can often see wild deer including the native Blacktail or Tule. There are a variety of shorebirds as well as Great Horn owls that often nest in the Cypress near the Ranger Station,  and Elephant seal can often be seen lounging on Drakes Beach in the bay or on the ocean beaches.

Trail Location:
the trail is about 16.5 miles down 'Sir Francis Drake' from 'Bear Valley Rd. Look for the 'Chimney Rock' sign just after Ranch A. The road is off to the left with the trailhead about a mile down.  It's narrow, but paved.
