RING MOUNTAIN OPEN SPACE
Home

Trail/Park Description:
Ring Mountain Open Space Preserve is a 377 acre park surrounded by development in the eastern part of Marin County located between Tiburon Bl. and Paradise Dr. It's unusual in a number of ways. First is the abundance of a variety of geologic schists. Second, this formation gives rise to a rare plant community able to tolerate it's toxicity. Third, it's the site of numerous Miwok middens, petroglyphs and grinding stones. And last, it has unparalleled views of the bay area from the Richmond bridge to San Francisco. We think you'll enjoy this park.
