MISSIMER PRESERVE

Park Description: Missimer is a 240 acre preserve that "protects some of the most outstanding and rarest native wildflowers in Napa County". Most of the preserve is a fairly low hilly open grassy plain located alongside Stage Coach Road in North Central Napa County.  There are no trails as such, and requests should be made to visit the property.

Directions: From St. Helena go east on Deer Park Rd to Pope Valley. Then north on Pope Valley (changes to Butt Canyon Rd.) to Snell Valley Rd. It's about 2.5 miles. Watch for a parking area on the left and the Missimer sign on the gate. The property runs north and south on either side of the road.
