Home

Trail Description:
Lake Herman is a 577 acre park located about 4 miles north of Benicia.
The reservoir is fed by Sulfur Springs Creek which drains the surrounding grassy hills and provides about 50 acres of riparian vegetation for amphibians, small mammals, and birds. There seems to be little information about the park, but entrance is free and there is a nice two acre picnic area and Porta Potties all shaded by tall trees. Existing roads and dirt trails take you around about half of the reservoir.
