Trail/Park Description:
Lynch is not for the faint of heart.
First it's mostly dried grass, then there are hundred degree days and a climb from hell. After that comes the fierce hot (or icy) winds, and to top it all, you might not even be able to get in. So why go?
Well, if your timing is right and you go in spring, you'll encounter waves of lush green grass, balmy breezes, strange twisted trees, fascinating rock formations and lastly, when that steep but reasonably short hike opens up to amazing views that go from San Francisco to the whole north bay... your heart will be pounding and it will all have been worth while. Unfortunately the park has been mostly closed due budget problems, but it's still open on weekends.

See our Park page for more information.
