Blue Dicks (Dichelostemma capitatum): Flowers can be white, purple, or blue.
Fiddleneck (Amsinckia intermedia): Each flower is less than ½ inch wide and long.
Small Baby Blue Eyes (Nemophila heterophylla): Wide spread throughout the park in semi shady areas.
Polypore Shelf Fungus (Polyporaceae family): Grow on wood.
Thick grassed dominate the trail.
Climbing Bedstraw (Galium porrigens): Native. Sweet scented European species were used to stuff mattresses, thus Bedstraw.
Hairy Wood Rush (Luzula comosa): A member of the Rush Family.
Indian Warrior (Pedicularis densiflora): Has fern like red purplish leaves.
Pungent Cudweed (Gnaphalium bicolor bioletti): Some Gnaphaliums were used in Japan as tobacco.
Red Maids (Calandrinia ciliata): Genus named after botanist J. L. Calandrini.
Poison Oak (Toxicodendron diversiloba): Flower buds.
Miners Lettuce grace the trailsides.
Scarlet Fritillary (Fritillaria recurva): We saw a couple of large groups just off the Tilley Trail.
Lacepod (Thysanocarpus curvipes): Flower was 1/10 inch across or less.
