RUSH RANCH
MARSH
TRAIL
June 3,  2010

Trail Description:
This was June, and the grass was suppose to be dry and weather hot.
Fortunately, all over the Bay Area, late rains have kept things green, growing and cool. We took the usual marsh trail and found some new flowers while enjoying old views of the delta. This was also a good place for the birders among us. The noon temperatures were a little warm under the direct sun, so we all opted to hike the extra mile to a nice shady table under the old Eucalyptus trees. With cool shade, good food and good company, what could be better?
