ANNADEL
SPRING CREEK

Trail Description:
This was our first foray into Annadel,  though others of the group had been here before. We chose the Spring Creek trail for it's shaded woodsy environment as the days were still warm. The trail was fairly open until one reaches the intersection of Spring and Canyon. From here on, the temperature plummeted as we hiked through a dense canopy of Redwoods, Alders and Bays extending almost to Lake Ilsanjo.  At this time of year, few flowers were to be seen, especially under the thick climax growth.
