Trail Description: The 317 acre Kruse Rhododendron Gardens are located near the center of Salt Point Park. Some years ago a major fire opened the area and allowed the rhododendrons to thrive, though the normal forests of firs, redwoods and oaks are slowly reclaiming the area. There are 3 miles of trails through dense forests, creeks and fern lined hillsides. Elevations are roughly from 300 to 600' over several ravines.

Trail Location:
From the park entrance, go north about 3 miles. The reserve sign will be on the right. Parking is about 500 yards up this road.
