USING OR COPYING OUR PHOTOGRAPHS

It takes a lot of work and some expense to keep this site going. But we feel hiking outdoors promotes learning, an appreciation for our public lands, uses little energy (except for driving to get there), and most of all, is good for one's physical and mental health.

We encourage people to freely use our photographs for any non-commercial use. But since all photo's are encrypted and can be found online, even if  "captured", we ask that you  please contact us first, and we will gladly give you permission. This lets us track use and lets us know if the site is appreciated. Really, It's like someone asking for your recipe, you feel honored!

For commercial use, the bad news is that we will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law any unauthorized use of any photographs. The good news is we ask only a pittance plus credit for the use of our photographs, so please contact us.
