Trail Description:
After 3 years and 3 visits to Sky Trail, it's getting a little harder to come up with new plants, not that the old ones are boring to look at. It's always surprising how mild Point Reyes is. Even with many weather stations constantly reporting temperatures in the 60's, we've mostly experienced from the mid 70's to 80 this whole summer. This day was no exception, and the shade provided by the tall trees and lush undergrowth was certainly welcome. We also saw many young (under 30 to us - but under 80 to others in our group) hikers enjoying the weather. School outings we suspect. It's nice to see both young and old enjoying our outdoor heritage.

Trail Location: From Highway one take Bear Valley Road to Limantour Road. The parking lot is 3.4 miles down on the left.
