Trail Description:
With near 95 degrees predicted inland, Pt. Reyes is always a choice destination. This time our group was unusually large, and while it may have scared a few birds away, it made for a more chatty lunch at Hearts Desire beach. But we were lucky enough to spot an Osprey perched on a limb near the trail. The more common flowers like the Cats Ears and Hedge Nettles were out, but it was hard to spot something new due to the time of year. We keep looking for trails that are down hill both ways, but no luck this time, so unfortunately it was a bit of a sweat climbing back up. Still a nice lush hike.
