TOMALES BAY STATE PARK
Home
Park Description: The 2000 acre Tomales Bay Park is on the sheltered east
side of Point Reyes and holds one of the worlds finest stands of virgin
Bishop Pines in the state. Coastal fog and a precipitous climate provide a lush
environment for a vegetation which in turn provides a hospitable habitat for
birds and other small animals. Plus there are several beaches to enjoy.
Directions:
From Point Reyes Station, go west on Sir Frances Drake about 6 miles to
Pierce Point Road which splits off to the right. From here, it's a little over a mile to
the park entrance on the right.
