Trail/Park Description:
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day (in sharp contrast to the soaking we got on the previous hike) as ten of us headed out to explore this preserve overlooking the Napa Valley. The flowers were perhaps two to three weeks behind schedule due to the lack of rains. The poison oak of course was as prolific as ever as we headed up the narrow trail on the south slope of Mt. George.
